Тип уроку: Урок узагальнення
Тема: Merry Christmas.
Підтема: Повторення лексичних одиниць по темі: «Merry Christmas» та активізування їх в мовленні та письмі.
Мета:
Розвиваюча: - розвивати навички монологічного мовлення;
- розвивати навички та вміння працювати в команді;
- розвивати уяву, образне мислення;
Практична: - повторити та закріпити  лексичні одиниці по вивченій темі,
практичне застосування  їх у реченнях;
- створити позитивну мотивацію до вивчення англійської мови;
Виховна: виховувати дружність,толерантність.

І. Підготовка до сприйняття іншомовного мовлення

1. Організаційний момент.

Aim     2. Повідомлення теми та мети уроку.
T:Сьогодні у нас незвичайний урок. Подивіться на дошку  ( на дошці прикріплені картинки).Як ви думаєте, яка тема нашого уроку?
T: Вірно. Тема нашого уроку «Різдво». Тоді я пропоную згадати слова, які нам допоможуть описати це свято. (  Christmas Tree, Santa Claus, Christmas decoration, bell, family, Christmas balls, Christmas Card)
T: Different colors and different animals.
Т: Тоді збираємось в ліс і в цьому нам допоможе Mr. Tongue, якій нам допомагає вимовляти звуки. Підготуємо наші ротики до вимови англійських звуків.
3. Уведення в іншомовну атмосферу.
Фонетична зарядка.
Mr.Tongue кличе на прогулянку білочку – [ ei ei ei ]
Раптом він побачив комарика і вкусив Mr. Tongue – [ ai ai ai ]
Бідолашний Mr. Tongue – [ m m m ]
До нього прилетіла бджілки і заспокоюють його – [  з з з  ]
Mr. Tongue ніколи не буде дражнити комариків – [ nou nou nou ]
А зараз давайте згадаємо які ми почули звуки.
Т: Показує картки із зображенням транскрипції.
ІІ. Основна частина уроку.
1.Повторення вивченого матеріалу.

T: Look at our Christmas Tree.It is nice.Назвіть прикраси на ній.What is this? (Указую на кульку)
P: This is a Christmas ball.
T: What color is the Christmas ball?
Ps: Blue, yellow, white….( Учні говорять кольори кульок)
Т: Молодці, але деякі учні забували кольори, напевно були неуважні,тому давайте ще раз їх згадаємо.
Гра «Відгадай колір» на уважність. Я описую предмет, а ви говорите яким він кольором на англійській мові.
Т:
–   Я по городу люблю бегать в джинсах цвета … (blue)
- Нам давали на обед помидоры цвета… (red)
- А лимон, когда он спелый носит шкурку цвета … (yellow)
- А зеленый мандарин носит шкурку цвета … (green)
- Чернокожий человек по-английски будет… (black)
- По утрам не забывай чистить зубы цвета… (white)
- А медведь смешен, забавен, носит шубку цвета … (brown)
Let’s decorate our Christmas tree.
На столі у вчителя різнокольорові кульки. Вчитель називає, діти підходять та беруть названу кульку та вішають на намальовану ялинку.

      А давайте згадаємо, чим займаються діти на Різдвяні свята .

А зараз подивіться, які нам подарунки приніс  Санта Клаус. Вчитель із торбинки витягує іграшки.

Виберіть іграшку,яку б ви хотіли подарувати своїм рідним чи друзям. Скажіть для кого ви вибрали її, яка вона( використовуючи слова sad, funny, old, new, nice),  якого  кольору? Запишіть свої складені речення в зошит та зачитайте.

Які ви гарні подарунки хочете подарувати своїм близьким людям. А щоб мрії збулися потрібно це попросити кого - Санта Клауса. Але щоб він нам допоміг ми йому заспівати пісню “We wish you a Merry Christmas!”.

Проблеми навколишнього середовища.

Environment problems.

Мета:

Розвиваюча: - розвивати здатність здійснювати продуктивні мовні дії,вміти переключатися на англійську мову, висловлювати думки та спілкуватися на англійській мові.

Виховна: - виховувати культуру спілкування, відповідальність за результат своєї праці, бережливе ставлення до навколишнього середовища, природи та довкілля.

Психологічна: підвищення рівня мотивованості у вивченні іноземної мови.

Хід роботи:

T: Good morning, dear friends. I am glad to see you. Today we are going to speak about the ecology and environment; we will discuss the most burning environmental problems, to protect the environment, to save the nature, to keep the Earth clean.

How can we help our Earth? How can we protect the environment? How can we keep the Earth clean?

First we must understand the meaning of the word “ecology”.What is ecology?

P: Ecology is a science which studies relationship between all forms of life on our planet with its environment. This word came from the Greek “oikos” which means “home”. This idea of home includes the whole planet of ours; it’s population, the nature, animals, birds, fish, insects, all other living beings and even the atmosphere around our planet.

T: Our Earth is wonderful. Let’s watch video and discuss. Показ відео.

P₁: The Earth is beautiful. We have watched blue sky,rivers, seas,oceans, high mountains, green forests and beautiful plants world. The nature and the wildlife is in harmony. There are many different species of animals,birds, fish in our Earth. We have watched how wonderful our planet. I like all.

T: You are right. But it is not so.

P₁: Why?

T: What have you just watched?

P ₂: I have watched that rivers,seas,oceans are pollute. People throw away the litter don’t think about the others. Industry is developing some time without any care of the environment. It is a very great problem for us and all world. We can see that pollution water influence as animals so people.

T: What can we do?

P₂: I think that all people must ponder about it because water is life for all alive. People must remember about it. Remember and think about future. We are all in one Earth.

T: What do you think?

P₃: I think we mustn’t throw away the litter,empty cans, plastic bottles in the streets, rivers and lakes. We have watched rivers, seas, lakes are polluted with all kinds of technological, chemical and other wastes. The water is not blue. It is brown, green with rubbish, floating in it. Millions of tons of oil are released into the rivers, seas. And many sea birds,fish and animals die because of it. It’s dangerous to nature and it’s dangerous to human being too. We pollute water, but water is our life.

P4: It’s a pity but many rivers and lakes are poisoned. Harmful waste from industrial enterprises pollutes rivers and seas and as a result of fish and replies leave their habitat.

P5: People forget the words of a famous scientist Thur Heyrdahl who said,” If the ocean dies, the man will die too. It is time to think about the waters of the world ocean.”

T.: Right we are. And what must we do?

P₃: We must say stop. People don’t pollute water.

T: It’s good. How can we help the Earth?

P₄: We must all strive for the clean environment.

P_5:First fall pick litter you see as you are walking. Pick up litter! Don’t throw litter!

T.: Good! But Is it only an one problem?

P s : No, it is not.

T.: What are the main ecological problems we face nowadays?

P_{1 :} The main ecological problems nowadays are:

• the contamination of water;

• the contamination of atmosphere;

• the contamination of soil.

Before stating our discuss I want to be sure that you know the main points of our discussion. They are as follows:

How do we call air, water,land where we, people, live? (Environment)

What gas can’t people live without? (Oxygen)

How do we call the destruction of wildlife and countryside’s beauty, shortage of natural resources, the growth of contamination? ( Pollution)

T: We have discussed the reason contamination of water. What do you know about contamination of the environment ?

P2: Pollution is contamination of the environment including air, water and soil. One third of the emissions into the atmosphere originate from automobile transport.

P3: I want to emphasise that not only transport but also industrial enterprises emit dust, sulphur dioxide and other harmful substances into the atmosphere. As a result it has become very difficult to breathe in large cities.

P4: I want to stress that cars and new industrial inventions make pollution steadily worse and it in its turn destroys habitat of animals and birds.

P5: I want to tell you that a man pollutes air especially severely in such cities as Chicago, Detroit Tokyo, Sheffield as well as Donetsk, Dnipropetrovsk and many other places in Ukraine and abroad.

T: It is a very serious accusation, but you are right.

P6: What’s more,man cuts down trees that produce oxygen that is so necessary for people to live.

P7:It’s a pity, but the rainforests disappear. Today in South America 50 hectares of forests disappear every minute. It happens because people need wood and paper, minerals, more room for farming and housing.

P8: Bear in mind that food can’t be produced on the polluted soil many parts of the world are over crowded; people live in big cities and produce a lot of waste. Waste from factories and power stations is especially dangerous. It’s dangerous not only for the environment, wildlife but also for people.

P8:We forget about the Greenhouse effect. Gases and chemical stay in the air like a blanket around our planet causing the changes in the world’s climate.

P1: I want to emphasise that a man pollutes land with rubbish, dust, pesticides and other harmful substances. Coal – using industries such as metallurgical, coke – chemical plants, steel mills as well as thermal power plants emit uncontrolled amount of sulphur dioxide,dust and unburned hydrocarbons.

P2: Nowadays the contradictions between people and nature acquire a dramatic character. Forest are disappearing and this upsets the oxygen balance. The roots of plants absorb water and dissolved salts out of the soil. Wind and rain destroy the soil.

T: My dear children! You’re touched upon a very important problem. I‘m proud that you understand these problems. What can be done for solving them?

What did M. Jackson want to tell us?

P1: Stop killing rare species of birds and animals for fun!

P2: Stop cutting trees in the forests,it’s the home for various species of animals, birds and insects.

P3: Forest are “lungs” of our planet.

P3: We don’t want a war. We mustn’t destroys our Earth and our life.

P5: We need to change our attitude.

P4: Saving the environment, you save yourself.

T: What do we do to keep the Earth clean? Class (хором) – We love the Earth – our home.

P₁.: I don’t throw litter in public places. What do you do to keep the Earth clean?

P₄.: I never break glass bottles. What do you do to keep the Earth clean?

P₆.: I don’t smoke. What do you do to keep the Earth clean?

P₇.: I always leave the place clean when I hike. What do you do to keep the Earth clean?

P₈.: I save energy and water. What do you do to keep the Earth clean?

P₉.: I stopped using aerosol cans. What do you do to keep the Earth clean?

T.: We must use plastic containers. What do you do to keep the Earth clean? (звернення до класу).

Now, pupils, let’s make the Code of Ecological Rules for all people of our village. I think these rules should be to help our Earth.

Code of Ecological Rules:

• Don’t break trees.

• Don’t leave litter.

• Keep the country tidy.

• Respect the life and work of the countryside.

• Put litter away.

• Grow trees and flowers.

• Don’t frighten birds and animals.

• Don’t cut wild flowers.

• Don’t burn fires.

T: We must trouble about our nature and our Earth. We are all in one boat. What will our life be without nature? I am going to finish our discuss such words:
